One word

Yes
Yes, I say, to all that you will ever ask
Yes to now, tomorrow and forever.
Yes-
At last!
Lowest dregs
To furthest reaches,
Yes!

Hymn

My back aches
but my heart swells
propping me back up
          fifteen hour day
            by the thought of you

At last
Amen, Amen, Amen
Hallelujah-
                  God,
         yes!
                  (reprise)

Revien cherie

Lovely day, the sunshine
A light of love, love divine
As time strode away

A test of love, I bring to you my love
Like a bird who builds your unborn a home
Full of warmth, I give to you the same test of love
Revien cherie, revien cherie

Sitting all alone in a daze
I sing a song to you my love
I wish I were dead
My love was far away

A test of love, I bring to you my love
Like a bird who builds your unborn a home
Full of warmth, I give to you the same test of love
Revien cherie, revien cherie

Life to me is a share
To be, to see, to understand each other
To love one another
I give to you the same test of love
Revien cherie, revien cherie, revien cherie

Odyssia

Penelope killed Odysseus
because he was a lazy pig
who only came around
every few months
     to fillhisgut-
and she was tired of waiting
for him to completely change,
into a someone that cared.
          She was now Odyssia
  (Homer had the gender assignments
and much of the story wrong)

Odyssia ruled a kingdom and
never sought pleasure from belittling another,
using someone emotionally and physically,
or for personal gains--
There is no excuse for that.

She rescued cats
talked to strangers
and found a manfriend,
at equal terms,
and they shared
each others company
and made each other smile
by their shared presence.

For Sarah and Manin

take your skin off
strip to your bones
fall
to the end
of time
over the cliff
leave your eyes
at the door
don't let go
fuse your hands
to his
beyond reason
and cost
